Following severe flooding and post-fire impacts from the Pack Creek Fire, Grand County partnered with Jones & DeMille Engineering to restore channel stability and protect infrastructure.
Funded through the NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection program, the project included debris removal, bank stabilization, riprap energy dissipation, and construction of a vented low-water crossing on Stocks Drive.
These improvements restored channel function, reduced flood risk, and improved resilience for surrounding properties and transportation routes.
