The Quitchupah Creek Road project created a new 10.5-mile transportation corridor connecting Convulsion Canyon Road to SR-10 in eastern Sevier County.
Jones & DeMille Engineering provided full-service delivery, including funding support, design, environmental permitting, right-of-way coordination, construction management, and inspection.
The project required extensive coordination with federal and state agencies, local stakeholders, and private landowners. Design challenges included balancing more than 1.7 million cubic yards of earthwork and integrating drainage infrastructure, including large-diameter culverts and wildlife crossings.
The project was completed under budget and received multiple statewide awards for excellence in design and construction.
