Jones & DeMille Engineering worked with State Bank of Southern Utah on their new branch office in Richfield, Utah. The Civil Engineering services rendered for this project included structural , site civil, and construction engineering of a 13,000-square-foot 2-story office building on Main Street.
The structural system for the building included special reinforced masonry bearing and shear wall, structural steel framing, concrete foundation walls, and footings. Building includes offices for bank staff, public lobby area, and 3 lane drive through teller. Complete site design was completed for the project including ADA parking, utilities, UDOT Right-of-Way access, and drainage.
Structural and Site Design
Scope of work included design of a new two-story steel and masonry building. Features included lobby space, offices, covered drive-through, restrooms, conference rooms, elevator, and necessary equipment. Site design services included parking lot, sidewalks, storm drainage, dumpster enclosure, and landscaping areas. Structural steel design included steel beams, girders, joists, and columns at both the roof and the second floor for both distributed and point loads.
